The W4RT Three-Touch Tune is a special cable that attaches to the rear of your FT-847 and your LDG autotuner. Its name comes from the fact that to activate the autotuner while having a carrier from the FT-847, requires the touching of three buttons. To put the radio into its special data mode, you press the FM/AM mode button, then press the TUNE button on the LSG autotuner. The autotuner then performs its tuning function. When it completes the tuning, the autotuner then deactivates the radio. You then press either the CW or SSB mode button on the radio ... three touch tune!
